Just a quick question.....

I am seeing my doc tomorrow, as usual, appointments are rarer than rocking horse you know what.
I have been suffering from mild chest pains recently, being asthmatic I have assumed that it is part of that.....for the last two days it has been getting worse. Today, I cannot walk far without feeling like passing out, yet my peak flow is not that bad at 350 (average).......been feeling really tired, achy and I have a mild sore throat.

Any ideas?

Now any devious person would post something naughty about Michelles chest now but as I don't fit into this catagory I wn't do it :D:D:D

If you're still as bad as that you should get someone to drive you to the hospital. Could be a cardiac arythmia of some sort? You need an ECG.

Let us know how you get on

MichelleWRX1994 08 May 2002 06:37 PM

I thought of driving myself to hospital, but I am not safe to drive, I am waiting for the person I lodge with to arrive back so I can ask him to take me.

In all honesty, I don't wish to go if I am going to be wasting time, after all, that is why we have GP's isn't it. :)

I have called work and nformed them, as usual getting a response like they don't believe me

The queue is long if you do ;)

TopBanana 08 May 2002 06:43 PM

Michelle - the symptoms are consistent with a serious heart problem. You need to get there ASAP. Call a cab?

SiCotty 08 May 2002 06:55 PM

Get a taxi to the hospital and then explain to the nurse on duty at the A&E about your chest pains. You should be seen ASAP as with chest pains you go to the top of the list.

TopBanana 08 May 2002 07:05 PM

Amazing how much pain you get from that!!!

Dark 09 May 2002 12:54 PM

Judging by the company, you probabily caught something in Tut's jacuzzi! ;)

ROTFL :D

You dare :p

ozzy 09 May 2002 02:04 PM

Michelle,

Is your Peak flow average for an asthamtic? Mine's over twice your amount

Anyway, hope you get better soon,

Stefan

Little Miss WRX 09 May 2002 02:39 PM

Typically it should around 490 for my height etc, etc.

I found that I managed 550 when I was feeling very well, my lowest being 75

My average is around 400, but with it being hayfever season I usually strike around 300-350. I know it sounds stupid, but I hate dosing myself up on medication.

Si James 09 May 2002 11:40 PM

Did you get a chill in the Jacuzzi?

Maybe that or something else had some effect on your chest?

Si

Si James 10 May 2002 07:38 AM

My marvellous pictures of the Group shot at Tut Towers has been removed!

Maybe somebody did not want to be seen!

Dark 10 May 2002 09:19 AM

Si,

Where have the photo's gone?

I suppose if anyone wanted to see them they could always checkout Tut Towers on Yahoo groups! ;)
