I mean a good price, forgot mine is due for renewal lol

Moley 07 July 2012 08:27 PM

I could possibly quote you, but it would be a LOT more than that £1300 you've already had.

Take that quote, you won't beat it.

My son is the same age as you, he got a 03 wrx, lives in North Devon, 3 years ncb £1,200. insured with Admiral.
down side is £1,000. excess

im 23, 4 years no claim and ive got a quote for £740 on my 94 wrx import, with admiral, the trick i find is 2 add ur mum and dad on the policy as a named driver this seems to knock about a third off the price.

1300 isnt bad, at 23 with 6years i payed 1150.

cooperjohn 08 July 2012 08:41 PM

My parents are on my policy as named , I have a xe engined classic mini insured with flux direct for 180 for the year all mods declared . Performance wise it's problem on par with the scoob just don't get the huge price difference

Moley 08 July 2012 09:21 PM

Because the Mini is silly cheap, that's why!!! ;)

cooperjohn 08 July 2012 09:50 PM

More nick able harder to drive not as safe easier to break up and sell less chance of recovery due to no tracker yet over 1k cheaper to insure how can this be . If my welds fail the engine could come out causing lots of trouble

Moley 08 July 2012 09:58 PM

£1300 for any performance car at 23 is cheap, £180 for a modified Mini at your age is the cheapest quote (for the risk) i've ever heard of in all my years of working in insurance, so class yourself lucky.
