Exhaust camshaft needed 96 sti.
 
Hi guys, im looking for a exhaust camshaft for a 96 wrx sti it is the shim type and has L3 EX stamped on it.

Ive had a run of bad luck with this car and im struggling to find parts to put it right!! :brickwall

If someone can help me or point me in the right direction i would very much appreciate it!!:thumb:

Ive already contacted a few breakers on here but had no sucsess.

im selling a engine with bottom end gone or one that is suspect has piston ring failure for £100ono i dont really want to start breaking them down
im in huddersfield west yorkshire if you are intressted

What car is it out of bud? Year, model, etc. Just so i can firgure out if its the right camshaft. Cheers tim.

One was out of a 94 and the other was 96 sti this one looked like it had been replaced as it was really clean

Small update is that i need, a exhaust camshaft for a V2 sti type ra, with the 2 grooves going the through the stamped area on the shaft. If anyone knows of anything available that would be great.

Hi guys this is a picture of my v2 sti type ra camshaft that i need. :thumb:

Note the 2 grooves going through where the L3EX is stamped.

I hope the picture uploads properly!!:wonder:
