dccd gearbox oil
:brickwall
hi,i cant find any reasonable answer on this, what oil is recommended for a 99-00 ty754vb1ca dccd gearbox? after all the info i gathered i opted for Fuchs Titan Race SYN 5 75W-90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil (was Silkolene SYN 5 75w-90). can anyone tell me if this is the right stuff for this gearbox and will it be ok as its a dccd gearbox? anyone using it? its only the gearbox oil i need to think about as the rear diff has already been done.:thumb: the days of just buying any old gear oil are gone! |
Yep that will be fine mate. A decent fully synthetic 75w 90 from one of the well known manufacturers will fit the bill.

ive ordered 4ltrs,will this be enough? thanks. |
For mine I use the Motul gear 300 75w90 synthetic LS (limited slip) in case yours has the LS is better to use this one, otherwise the gear 300 synthetic 75w90 is the best you can find!

LOL yes mate i know that,:thumb: but the fuchs/silkolene fully synthetic is a comparable oil to the millers in grade and efficiency so use it with out worry,i would really only go for the motul top grade stuff if you track it alot,or are loaded.:thumb:
thanks very much mate, that answers my question. thanks to all, much appriciated as always.:notworthy:thumb: |
