Just bought some rcm headers and japspeed decat down pipe. Want to heat wrap them. Just wondering what best heat wrap is to buy?

Ok thanks will do. How much do you put on? Layers? Cheers

just enough to overlap it by about 1cm. some of the dei stuff has a stiching on the wrap to guide you when wrapping it.

when it is damp it help as well, as you dont get any fibers floating around in the air. and make sure you have gloves on.

use locking wire to hold the wrap in place, every inch or so

I just bought DEI Titanium. I've heard really good things about it and you don't need to damp it.

Ok great... Why you need gloves?

goffemannen 04 July 2012 09:36 PM

because your skin might be irritated..
