impreza insurance
 
hi guys/girls. i am looking to buy a impreza. either a 2.5 or 2.0 wrx. i am looking at insurance quotes of £2000 +. i have always been a named driver on other policy for past six years (i am 24 had a license for 5 years). ive have always wanted to own and drive a subaru impreza and am starting to think the dream is over what with petrol prices it could be too late. please any help would be welcomed. thanks. charlie

im with aviva, 25 yrs old and always been a named driver, im paying £800 for a 2.0 wrx

One of the pitfalls of not having your own policy :(

Pop over to the dedicated insurance section and I'm sure someone will try give you a quote.

I can't really see a way around this mate. I'm sure Gary will pop along to give you a better idea of what to do.

First off, what's the start of your post code as that's crucial to insurance.

Good luck getting it much below £1500 mate. I had 3 years NCB and was 25 and still paid out £1500 on my first year for a 2.0 Wrx (04) and I was in a good area. That was the cheapest after shopping around the specialists also. I'm current with Adrian flux who beat everyone on price but my first year was with aviva.

26 with a sti ppp bugeye. 960 fullycomp with breakdown and legal fees, good old go compare got me that and its with privelige. get a price on a newage sti type uk, there a lot cheaper to insure than imports

Makes a HUGE difference

At 24 and without owning the car for a year, let alone 0 NCB, it's going to be tough.
