What league is that then chap ??

Paulo P 02 July 2012 11:57 PM

Without watching the video is this the same specky that owns the front wheel drive Tigra?

suBruce 03 July 2012 12:10 AM

Scooby burble from a corsa C is the best thing you could ever do to a corsa!

I can see this from two ways; crazy effort to make a corsa into basically just a lightened scooby, but then it would be worth it as itd be amazing for shocking people

Beastie 03 July 2012 12:35 AM

should be fun :D

MattyB1983 03 July 2012 12:41 AM

Impreza engine ???

I need to watch it again with the volume turned up.

dibbleyuk 03 July 2012 09:50 AM

looks fun but what a bunch of idiots driving around other peoples cars like that with no brakes!

Carlh 03 July 2012 10:15 AM

Thats going to fly, doesnt weigh more than a fag paper lol though i expect it'll end in tears if theres no brakes and corsa suspension...

It is turbo'd? or just WRX sport?

dukeoffenland 03 July 2012 03:01 PM

Its still a corsa tho

rapid.STI 09 July 2012 09:21 AM

It run a 13.3 at york yesterday. Thats at 216bhp 0.6bar of boost.

He's hoping for 340bhp on a power fc next

goatblower 09 July 2012 10:01 AM

Brilliant sleeper!

Would still rather have my Impreza though.....

Not that great then

Speky, the owner of this Corsaru or whatever it is also has a Tigra that was or perhaps is the fastest FWD car in the UK. His recent 1/4 mile outing was when the car was very much work in progress and had several issues so even without more power his times will improve. He has no Subaru experience so all this is new to him but he is not a dummy so if he sets his mind to it he will achieve spectacular results. He is currently looking out for 550cc injectors and a mappable ECU.

johnlogie 12 July 2012 11:48 PM

Would be nice to see some of the work that has gone in to this

harvey 25 August 2012 10:07 PM

Update?

F1 CJE UK 25 August 2012 11:50 PM

Top work!

Norman Dog 26 August 2012 12:11 AM

:) Respect to the engineering that went into building that.

harvey 26 August 2012 10:42 AM

I don't think Specky is big on communications and internet although he does a column from time to time for the monthly Total Vauxhall magazine. He works for RS Tuning in Leeds and although he has never had anything to do with a Subaru before he is a quick learner and has the ability to do much the same with his Corsaru as he has done with his Tigra. When I last saw him he said Andrew Carr was also giving him input regards ECU, mapping etc. so I am sure the outcome will be very interesting.
Like I said above the Tigra was or is the fastest 2 wheel drive FWD in the UK so let us see what he does with 4 wheel drive on a budget build.

scooby red 26 August 2012 11:12 AM

Wouldn't be too impressed with it rodding round my parked car with no brakes

The Trooper 1815 26 August 2012 11:31 AM

I like this little number.

Heap if ****e to be honest, fcuk me, there was even bits falling off it:lol1:

zippy! 26 August 2012 05:55 PM

specky is a friend of mine too in fact one or 2 bits on this car came from me! believe me his mechanical knowledge knows no bounds this car might not look much at the minute but watch this space im sure it will silence a lot of critics when its finished just as his monster of a tigra has done. i love my scoobys but unlike his little tigra i bet not one of us can say we need a parachute to stop them!

The Trooper 1815 26 August 2012 06:10 PM

As much as it's being hyped, what's the point?

zippy! 26 August 2012 06:32 PM

something different i suppose and will surprise a hell of a lot of people! if nobody experimented with anything we wouldn,t have much of anything would we.

chocolate_o_brian 26 August 2012 07:43 PM

Good effort.

No stickers, dump valve or fake roof vent ;)

trails 27 August 2012 02:57 PM

cracking job...lol at those knocking it obviously have no idea how much effort and talent it takes to make a project like this a reality. Good luck Specky :)
