standard recirc valve
Hi all just bought myself a 96 wagon, fitted panel filter, decat and polar performance ecu. I am only making .9 bar boost and should be making around 1.1 bar. I did a boost leak check and the standard dum valve was leaking at .8-.9 bar. So is my old type valve worn out ? What pressure can the standard One take ? Seen a couple of second hand legacy twin turbo ones , one orange label, one blue label are these any better. Cheers in advance.

As a quick test you can remove the DV, block both holes off (with any thing suitable) and go for a quick test drive. If your boost improves then the DV is fudged. |
