abs cutting in at low speeds
 
anyone on here had this problem before, just had my 2.1 fitted and running in this weekend, the problem is when braking slowing from say 10mph to 0 the abs keeps cutting in, not all the time just now and then, all other speeds the brakes are spot on, the car is a 02 bug sti ppp, never had the problem before engine was done, could it be a vacuum pipe off, leak ?, il ring the engine builder tommorrow and see what he says

It's a damaged ABS ring

Hi there

This can be as above said ABS ring,but can be damaged hub like in our case or ABS sensor.
For reading ABS codes on new age you will need Subaru select monitor or use under dash with terminal pins

give your abs sensors and reluctor rings a clean befor you replace anything worth a try,mine was caked in craped,gave them a clean work perfectly since.

will try both the above, poxy abs dont even need it but dont want to to take the fuse out and have the light coming on, on the dash
