ScoobyNet EJ20/EJ22//EJ25 ** ON Standard Internals ** LEADERBOARD

Folks,

I've been chatting to various people about this on forums and in person for about a year or more now as I am curious to where people have their cars in terms of power on standard engines. Call it madness or call it you have a big pair of bollocks who knows.........but at the end of the day it’s fun.

So, I Thought I'd start a new willy waving thread for users with the following (EJ20 / /EJ22/EJ25 ONLY) that are on standard (Factory fitted) internals with supporting mods or just a remap.

ALSO ONLY for users for present day ( for example todays date 30/06/2012 ONWARDS) can add their names to the board. If you wish to add what power your car made before it died in a blazing ball or some scally nicked it and blew the engine by all means add it in conversation BUT DO NOT ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST/LEADERBOARD.

ALSO - I think the cut off should start from the Power minimum of let’s say.......
330 BHP ?

** RULES **
1) User Name
2) Post your power Results (BHP)
3) Post Your LbFt / Nm Results
4) Model / Year of Car
5) Turbo/ Intake mods to assist
6) Fuel used
7) Where the results came from for example Dyno/Data Logging/Delta Dash etc and Mapper would be handy.
8) ONLY your top result counts and you ONLY have your name on the list ONCE.
9) Add if the car is used for Daily Use,Work,School Runs, Shops (Daily) , Weekends (Wkends) , Track (Track) , Drift (Drift) , Drag Racing (Drag)
10) NO TAKING THE PISS
11) Have Fun!!

12) Oh and remember to copy the latest persons input on the Leader Board by adding yours and Editing the previous entry in terms of THE BLACK BOLD number Entry.

This is (I hope going to last for a while) so anyone who posts there results and if the worst case scenario happens at the car dies or is written off etc. here are is the plan below........

1) . ( Cars Active and on the Leaderboard) Use Black Bold writing.
2) . ( Cars Written Off after information submitted) Use Red Bold writing.
3) . ( Cars that have blown up and will be off the road for some time waiting for repairs OR are off the road due to travel by the owner / Serving Time (I hope not) OR car has been declared SORN) Use Green Bold Writing.

Examples for Example.......if you know what I mean.

1) USER NAME 1- 1000 bhp / 888 lbft / 2004 STi (EJ20) / RCM1000/CAIK/ Shell VPOWER + 50% Meth / Rolling Stones UK/ Peppa Pig (Track)

2) USER NAME 2 - 999 bhp / 885 lbft / 1996 STi (EJ20) / RCM1000/RCM CONE/ Shell VPower + 45% Meth + 150mls Of NF / Budgies Back Yard Rollers / Terry Tibbs (Drag)

3) USER NAME 3 - 700 bhp / 500 lbft / 2003 WRX (EJ20)/ MD32112/ CAIK / Tesco 99 + NOS / Terry Tibbs Autotrade / Terry Tibbs - Written OFF (Daily)

3)User Name 4 - 698 bhp / 399 Lbft / 1999 Type R (EJ22) / SC690h / Air Box / Shell VPower + 20% Meth / Rolling Stone UK / Rent a Slut Mapping Services . (Track)

4) User Name 5 - 687 / 503 lbft / 2005 STi (EJ20) / MD650 / CAIK / VPower + 20% Meth / Wurzals Autos / Terry Tibbs. (Daily)

5) User Name 6 - 685 / 480 Lbft / 2001 JDM STi (EJ20)/ SC700 / Cone / Shell Vpower + 10% Meth / RDT Rolling Road / Peppa Pig. (Wkend) - SORN

5) User Name 7 - 684 / 479 lbft / 2000 UK Turbo (EJ20) / MD600H / CIAK / BP 102 + 15lts of Race Fuel 107ron / Rolling Stone UK / Rent a Slut Mapping Services. (Drift)

So in effect ONLY the cars marked in BLACK BOLD writing are counted for the Leaderboard.

Does that make sense? It's fun at the end of the day thats all.

If So......LETS GET THE BALL ROLLING FROM SAY 18:00PM on 30/06/2012.

Input or changes welcome.

Regards
Steven, Aged 31

Is it a good idea chaps or not? You boys have the idea.

bioforger 30 June 2012 01:56 PM

lol whats with the rules, colours and timings for starting the thread?? This isn't supposed to be a board meeting presentation you square nobber :lol1:

stevie1982 30 June 2012 02:59 PM

Like the idea, it will give people a real idea of how much these cars can take. Might be an idea to add to the end the rough date that power was achieved to a date it went pop or just and "to present day" if it ever goes the poster can always come back and change the colour and date ;-) at least that way you could get an idea of how much they can take and for how long

Just a thought, nice idea though mate

Good idea but why a cut off point for power? I gained impressive torque figures from a remap on the standard turbo but as it makes what it does in my signature it's not worthy :P (best start saving if I wanna join this club ;) ).

I guess the thread is all about how far you can push the standard internals...No disrespect but 284 isnt really pushing it COB.. ;)

:lol1:

Point taken ;) but I was more looking at what was achieved with the standard set up, i.e. turbo. Maybe another thread :D

But is the car in active service with the said engine now dear boy?

As said can be added but won't count as such as its not present day.

ran it for a while (well over a year) never missed a beat, had a very hard time on zens rollers while being mapped, was running very similar power before that and was mapped by dave rowe at dsa rollers, it "did" 553 there but it lifted off rollers
so dont count ( sound familiar to anybody on here? it should do!!!) though it did 526 at zen before remap and the 534 or 538(long time ago) basic spec
md321v
motec ecu with knock control
1200cc injectors
rcm headers/exhaust
parallel fuelrails

Excellent mate. What use did it get at that power? What fuel was used?

used e85 and 20% meth when morrisons stopped selling it, car was used mainly at wknds and never did sustained speeds in 5th or 6th, it did get a lot of stick in the other gears though:)

Stevesbluewrx 01 July 2012 11:48 AM

( will edit in bold tomorrow)
Stevesbluewrx - 482 bhp / 448 lbft
2002 STi (EJ20) / MD321T (BILLET T71) (Sports cat) / CAIK / Surrey Rolling Road / Jollygreenmonster ( Daily Driver)

Running over 400 since 2009 guys if that helps anyone wanting reassurance of engine power at that level.

Cool thanks for the info. Was the block split and found in good order? Semi closed block right?

Was it Andy F that ran his around 600bhp? Simon ran his blob at late 500's but can't remember results fully ( Si, can you confirm sweetheart) .
