Anyone changed their horn???

...i know horns arent meant to sound manly but our horn sounds like a child's bike!! Not good for a an 06 Black Hawkeye WRX that, apart from the horn, sounds well!!

Anyone been through swapping their horn for a more acceptable note?

Cheers, as always, for any advice

Regards

Gaz

Tried a search? There have been threads over the last three months, anything from Hellas to train-horns.

Changed mine pal for these sickspeed horns. The sounds way better I think they're 118db

PIAA here, much better than the pants standard horns, and only £40!

Got cheap airhorns on mine, horns and compressor zip-tied to the slam panel uprights, either side of the rad.
They are loud enough, and less than £15.

This is what you need - pedestrian dispersal system:

Yes, very good, but where, on a Scoob, is there space for those?

bigscottyboy 08 July 2012 07:47 PM

Mines been replaced with one that plays La Cucaracha

alcazar 09 July 2012 10:10 AM

I hope you can switch it out? It's illegal except for showing.

Inside the wheel-arch or replace the fogs:norty:

alcazar 09 July 2012 12:06 PM

My fogs are already replaced with HID driving lights..........which I'd rather have than a louder horn.
