Tyres and roof bars on bug eye wagon
 
Hello all can anyone recommend me a decent set of tyres for max £500 they are 225 40 18 .I had a set of impetus lassa on for the last 18 months they lasted well grip was ok in the dry not so good in the wet any tips much appreciated also I have a new age wagon how do I go about removing the roof bars do I need to take some trim out and access underneath cheers

+1 for the above :thumb: ,I personally would buy a decent set of part worn goodyears,pirelli's,dunlops,toyo's ,etc than buy budget tyres.:nono:
I paid £160 for 4 x continental super contact 2's which all had 7mm of tread , and give good grip in the dry & excellent grip in the wet,off an accident damaged car.
A fair few years ago i bought 2 budget tyres for a MG montego turbo I owned. 8 days later had a blowout on the M6,and I vowed then I would never buy budget tyres again.I even have dunlop sp sports on my 1400 cc honda civic,which is no performance car.;)

Ok that makes sense I was looking at toyo proxy 4s on black circles yest would they be a good option??
