Always go with the recommendations, NOT the ones who jump in to get your trade first.....not always the best.

Well what it is every time I brake they squeak like mad but it's only when I brake can't figure our what it could be disks an pads look fine however I thought this might solve it

Hi Woody
The pads have a metal scraper on them so as they wear down the scraper touches the discs and make an annoying noise telling you they need changing , it could be this , do the pads look worn ? If you have a classic sport , they only have 260mm discs so a good first upgrade which you will pick up for peanuts would be to fit the early turbo brakes , you will pick up from calipers for next to nothing , you can then fit the larger 277mm discs. Up from there would be the later turbo 4 pot calipers and 294mm discs which is a bigger step in performance over the 277mm ones. You would need to check that your wheels would clear the larger kits. Hope this helps as a start Cheers Ian |
