being messed about with wages !!!!!
 

heres the story
im a multitrade working for the same fella for about 1.5 years the past 3/4 months when payday comes round he tells me sorry but theres no wages !!!!!!:mad: .
I do eventually get my money the following week sometimes in dribs and drabs somtimes all of it . The excuses are always the same "sorry mate but such and such hasn't paid" as far as i can see thats not my problem i go to work do his jobs work late weekends etc . Yesterday morning the bosses son says to me come and have a look at my new car (a peugeot 406) i only paid £600 for it only for the boss to phone me a 3pm to tell me AGAIN sorry mate no money tonight :mad: i am really pissed off with it all now and ready to tell him to poke it
i do have a couple of private jobs lined up that will pay me straight away but wont last for ever . What to do go and do the prvate work and try to find another job in the mean time or stick it out with him and hope it gets better

forgot to say im even more pissed off as i was meant to be having my new turbo and remap done monday looks like thats out the window now

berkshire,,,hmmmm, i used to sub off a guy called dave lovell who was exactly the same mate and he buggered off to berkshire owing us and his suppliers a tidy packet :mad:,, if i was you i would start looking for another job mate :thumb:

think its only option im left with really i cant plan sod all any more for the fear off not getting paid .

i'm surprised you lasted this long.

my place messed up my weeks pay this week by £400 i told them if it's not in my account by the end of the day i wont be returning to work until it is.

are you just cash in had with him or a proper sub contractor (715 etc)?

If me I'd get the rest of the money and move on.

or if he's not paying you.. don't do anymore work for him till he does.

If he has cash flow issues.. it might be a deeper under laying problem that you know nothing about. Is he Limited??

Sounds to me like bankruptcy is looming for this guy, I would start looking for work elsewhere straight away.

I feel sorry for you in such a situation. Sounds like this bloke is on his beam ends and I don't give much for your chances.
