Homemade bush removal tool

1 Attachment(s)
Got some replacment rear arms today and had a go at removing the bushes, managed to come up with a fairly simple tool to get the bushes out, which to my surprise worked aswell.

Attachment 68277

Pretty simple in design:

Long bolt, large washer, 30mm socket, then in my case the trailing arm bush, 5 washers, and 2 nuts.

Spanner on the nut end and ratchet on the socket end and start tightening, after a couple of mins the bush pushes through into the socket and hey presto it's out.

Did start with one nut on the end but found it would go to far inside the arm and couldn't tighten anymore, so used 2 as i had ran out of washers.

Unfortunately after 4 bushes the bolt gave up and sheared off, but thought this might come in use to anybody who was wanting to get bushes out on the cheap rather than paying for them to be done somewhere.
