Software for laptop OBD
 
Hi does anyone know where i can download free obd software to use on laptop to connect to ECU, needed to check my MAF sensor while back and cost a lot taking it to the garage! :( have seen Nology LaptopDyno but that measure BHP and not free, any ideas? cheers :)

RomRaider is your best bet and you can log with a cheap ebay VAGCOM cable. (www.romraider.com)

ahh thats wicked looks good stuff, see on one bit if u change values of some stuf it wont let u , beginners style stuff, but i only wanna check stuff so that cool :)

You won't be able to write to the ECU unless you purchase an OpenPort cable and flash blocks. Using a VAGCOM cable you will be able to read and clear error codes and data log - which is perfect for what you're after...
