Running lean

Had the car down at RCM today with Duncan and had a few power runs but started to run lean..!
Olly Clarke check injectors all fine it was mentioned there may be a blockage or fuel filter fitted wrong way round or pipe work braided lines has a blockage, possibly fuel rails any ideas ?

1. Has the fuel pump been replaced? as could be getting tired.
2. Replace the fuel filter if been on a long while, am suprised they did not do this there.
3. Check the condition of the engine earthing connections, could be limiting the operation of the injectors. Also if battery to chassis earth is corroded could be affecting the pump.
4. A longshot if you take the pump out look at the filter sock at the bottom of the pump could be crud in the tank restricting the pump from lifting the fuel.
5. Are you still running the OE FPR? maybe this is not allowing the pressure to be correct. If all the above don't help replace with a after market item. Aeromotive or similar. AVOID THE FLEEBAY CHEEPIES!!!! You will then be able to fit a pressure gauge to monitor the fuel pressure.
Am sure others will comment in time.

In tank is a Walboro 255 quite new il check how clean it is
The bill it sytec fuel filter is also new il check if correctly fitted ie right way
Running a fuelab FPR brand new pressure increases on boost and vice versa
Running about 1.4bar boost

Is it running 3bar of "Fuel pressure" to the fuel rail?

If it isn't, as the RPM rises, it'l start to lean out?

Just a guess:wonder:

Was running 4 bar fuel pressure on 1.4bar boost boost dropped off so did fuel pressure so FPR was fine

Mine MAINTAINS 3.2 bar of fuel pressure ABOVE boost.

Silly question, but you have checked for air leaks?

What turbo and what injectors?
