Genuine HKS SSQV2 with new spare fin & recirc adaptor - NEWAGE

6 Attachment(s)
Genuine HKS SSQV2 with boxed brand new replacement fin. Comes with recirc adaptor, circlip pliers and recirc pipe bung. Boxed with instructions. Will bolt directly to newage intercooler.

Most of the points in my SSQV3 guide will also apply to the version 2.

£110 posted.

b3mwe 10 June 2012 04:43 PM

Would you sell the recirc part separate

Major_Sarcasm 10 June 2012 05:07 PM

Only if someone bought this that didn't want it.

Major_Sarcasm 11 June 2012 08:44 PM

I got asked via PM if the replacement fin was because there was a problem with the one fitted. To clarify; the purple fin in the box is to alter the sound the BOV makes, there's nothing wrong with the silver one that's fitted.

Knotty_ 11 June 2012 09:56 PM

I'll take it, as per our PM's.

Knotty

Major_Sarcasm 11 June 2012 10:02 PM

Sold as soon as he pays me ;)

Edit: Sold

Cannon Fodder 11 June 2012 11:14 PM

Is it genuine? :D

Only joking of course. :)

Major_Sarcasm 11 June 2012 11:52 PM

Nah, it's fake (shhh)

rolfe88 12 June 2012 10:55 PM

it is fake

Major_Sarcasm 14 June 2012 03:36 PM

It most certainly is not.

Aarts 14 June 2012 03:59 PM

According to this it is:

Major_Sarcasm 14 June 2012 06:29 PM

Piss off, troll. That's not even the same version BOV. That is for a SSQV4 which is quite a bit different.

Do you think, after all the posts I've made warning people about fake HKS BOVs, that I'd dare sell a fake! The SSQV2 that I've just sold to Knotty was purchased (by the previous owner) from Sumo Power. It is 100% genuine. It will pass any inspection.

Now get lost.

Aarts 14 June 2012 09:19 PM

I'm sure if you PM Knotty_ he will be able to assist as he now owns the BOV. The ® is present on the labels but I can't take a picture as I posted it to him a couple of days back!

As I have said (repeatedly), this is a genuine SSQV. Now get off my case. Seriously, what is your problem? Go and bother someone else.

Am I being punk'd here? It seems like it.

Here is a public service message for you :

The seller has done more to inform other members of the pitfalls of buying fake SSQV's than anyone else on here, now go away.

Cannon Fodder 15 June 2012 12:27 AM

Sorry if anyone is offended by the image I posted but I believe it's quite apt and I pinched it off Facebucket. :)

Do not think you are being pun'kd - trolled maybe so as they say "Do not feed..."

BTW your post on how to spot a fake is a real good move, well written and illustrated:)

Knotty_ 15 June 2012 10:21 AM

Arrived yesterday - had to pick it up from the post office today though!

Never any doubt it was a fake from the pictures alone, but I can confirm this has all the signs of being a genuine product, many thanks M_S :)

Major_Sarcasm 15 June 2012 10:42 AM

Thanks mate. Can you do me a small favour? Take a pic of the little R on the small badges to shut Aarts up.
