I`ve been trying to figure out the mess that is my alarm and immobiliser, as wen it went in for spraying the central locking worked, now its come back and it doesn`t.

So found the trigger cables from the alarm, just can`t find where they are supposed to connect to on the loom.

ANYHOO

What is this bolted to my drivers door lock?? Its deffo electrical, and looks OEM, but I have no idea what its for. Anyone know??

Cool cheers for that, was wondering what that was for.
Basically the standard alarm has been removed/bypassed and a crap Sterling alarm/immobiliser has been fitted, which added an extra solenoid to control the central locking (so I`ve 2 motors in the drivers door :cuckoo:).
Anyhoo when it went in for paint the wiring from the alarm to the central locking has come off and they (and I) don`t know how to re attach the wires.

Tbh I've a Ai606 here, which I removed from my old car that I'`d love to install on my scoob as I prefer it. As I`d have total closure and lights on delay (all the nice toys), but I'm not great at wiring and wouldn't know where to start, esp with all these extra wires and bypassed wires, and wiring for a tracker thrown in too. I'm seriously considering getting someone here to it a new alarm/immobiliser (Ai606), and asking them to fit my Ai606 to my Jeep, which is currently un-alarmed. But its finding someone I can trust, and someone who won`t charge an arm and a leg.
