35 or 40

Just bought a set of 18's for my newage Sti.
Was wondering which size tire wall is better/best, 35 or 40, pro's and cons if you will.

What's the best width as well 225/235?

Cheers peeps:thumb:

40 profile on an 18" wheel on a newage, 225 is standard width but you can get away with a 235

With the 235, is there no issue with rubbing etc?
Will it make any dif its going on coilover and lowering a little,. Say 30mm ish, just to make it luk tidy.

Cheers Ade

Think I'm considering 235 if no issues then?

225/40/18 all day. I've got Kuhmo 35's on my Impreza and the ride is very hard, and you can feel every sodding pebble you drive over!! Changing to 225 Toyo's next week.

2254018s is the normal size but you can go up to 235s if you wanna :thumb:
