There is a thread on here about someone fixing them by cleaning out the old dried grease and re-packing them. They also fitted a grease nipple so when things started to knock they could add new grease could be worth a search. If I find it will edit to add link.

We run the BC coilovers on our car, we also are a dealer for them. Ours have been on 18 months now and not a noise or knock from them at all. BC revised the rear upper mounts ages ago which stopped the knocking issues. You can be confident a set of BC Coilovers will serve you well. There reputation is excellent value for money.

I think the knocking bcs are the old design and the newer ones have rubber top mount rears that eliminate the knocking.
I could be wrong on that tho |

how much for a set then |
Id also take these into consideration http://www.kw-suspension.co.uk/ yes they cost more but if you see who runs them on here you may be tempted ;)
Probably the best vfm suspension you will get under 4k (no they are not that expensive either ;)) Tony:) |
Tony do you know how they compare with the Bilstein B14 coilovers?
|
As above KW will be best option for you or Nitron 2-way,which have 1 year rolling warranty, for similar money you can get Intrax HDA,this company making inserts for EXE-TC
Bilstein B14 coilovers seems are OK,but main thing what is missing on them is adjustable damping, plus not sure if you can on them adjust camber Jura |
