Lots to choose from.

Bilt-Hamber, Dodo, AutoGlym, etc etc

I use a non-gloss enhancing shampoo for normal wash, Nanolex shampoo for those with sealants on.

Is there actually much between them? I use AG and zymol combined. The theory being the AG being nice and slick with the zymol being more suddy. To be honest I'd be hard pressed to tell any real world difference.

I don't use any shampoo which contains "wax" or polymers.

They can effect the LSP already present on the paint or make it a bit entertaining when it comes to doing paint correction.

Some polymers stick to the paint more than others.

For cars that have a sealant on (I use nanolex but looking at Opti-Guard) I use Nanolex shampoo.

But hey, everyone has their own favourite products etc so its all good :D

i realize im late replying to this post, but if i can help...

firstly, theres no point being recommended what other people prefer, its down to personal choice and what will best suit you/your methods/your car

~ do you prefer a wax-containing shampoo or a shampoo conditioner?

~ do you live in a hard water area?

~ what is your budget?

~ how many washes are you prepared to get from a single bottle?

~ what is the condition of your paintwork?

if your bodywork is immaculate and you just want a nice shine, go for a wax shampoo like meguiars ultimate wash & wax

if you want a shampoo conditioner as you intend to do paint correction (dont need wax) then look at autoglym, although if youve got a few extra pennies to spare, look at meguiars gold class, it is so much better, but autoglym is cheaper

if you need a water softener, then meguiars nxt gen will tick that box

all above mentioned are cheap enough, value for money and can be bought from halfords without needing to order on line and pay daft delivery prices :)

Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild :)

petethemeat 26 October 2012 11:30 AM

I currently use Megs Ultimate & AG Shampoo Conditioner (not at the same time) . I prefer the Megs just down to more suds – I realise this makes no cleaning difference but give me more satisfaction :)

Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild or Supernatural

SCOOBYRICH740_20_0 04 November 2012 10:05 AM

This is what I use. Out of all the shampoo I have used I find this the best loads of suds and reduces water marks.

Dodo Juice Sour Power Shampoo

I have used 409, Resolve and Spot Shot which are all in spray cans and available in most good stores. You need to vacuum thoroughly BEFORE you use them, clean them in with a good stiff bristle brush then let them dry and vacuum thoroughly again. I've had excellent results with them doing that. I even use them on the mats in my house, the carpets in my Motor Home and the car seats.
