Should I look at specialist insurers?

I'm 22 with 4 years NCB and I'm being quoted 1200 quid on my 1995 WRX import by admiral car insurance. I don't need to worry about insurance just yet as my policy didn't end when I bought the car so I just changed over from an MX5 to the WRX for very cheap. My renewal is in July.

So do you think any of these specialist insurers will give me a better deal? Or is admiral already giving me a good deal?

Nope, you will not beat that Admiral quote, it's VERY cheap

I just got 100 quid knocked off because I didn't declare my after market alarm and said factory only.

So unsecured cars are better apparently.

So are you going to insure your car illegally then, ie deliberately give them false information to fraudulently decrease your premium.

May as well not even bother if that's your intention fella... as your policy would be void in the event of a claim :thumb:

JDM's dont have factory fitted security.

I think he`s just saying he got the alarm details wrong and assumed it was factory before realising or being told it was actually after market...could be wrong though :lol1:
