I love the mica green and had mine for 12 years now and has 60 k on the clock
Despite polished every week my arches are bubbling so would be interested to know what they did and cost involved
Every classic is going at the arches

When it's polished it's looks fantastic and quite rare to see a green classic nowadays

I had my skirts and rear spats and front P1 splitter colour coordinated when I got it and put a nice P1 back box and decat on it

RICK... 30 May 2012 08:18 PM

Lovely car mate, got a nice shine to it! The only reason I got this is for the colour, I don't think I've actually ever seen another one in the flesh!

The arches weren't too bad to be honest, but I'm fussy so had them done. They were grinded/sanded back, rust treated and painted, which cost £200. Also bought new rubber arch trims, one from a guy on here and the other side from Subaru which was £36. Cost me about £250 in total, so not too bad really!

I really need to invest in a decent camera, doesn't look half as good in the pics as it does the flesh :(

scoob21 10 June 2012 01:36 PM

Got to say that engine bay looks pretty spotless now :thumb: what products did you use on it??

RICK... 11 June 2012 09:28 PM

Cheers guys :)

scoob21 - I used GUNK engine degreaser to clean it (£4.99 from Halfrauds) and dressed with Aerospace 303 (£14.99 posted on eBay). Followed a guide that was posted on here.. got the link somewhere. Was a bit worried about using pressure washer on it, but was fine, spent a good half hour making sure all the important bits were fully covered.
