Cheers guys and Rob I keep meaning to update it but keep forgetting, will make sure I do from now on :D
Going to get the springs in the next week or two, do we reckon 35mm will be enough? |
yes mate i had 35 springs, before i fitted coilovers look in my profile for pictures :)
|
I love the mica green and had mine for 12 years now and has 60 k on the clock
Despite polished every week my arches are bubbling so would be interested to know what they did and cost involved Every classic is going at the arches http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/s...g/ef81090c.jpg When it's polished it's looks fantastic and quite rare to see a green classic nowadays I had my skirts and rear spats and front P1 splitter colour coordinated when I got it and put a nice P1 back box and decat on it |
Lovely car mate, got a nice shine to it! The only reason I got this is for the colour, I don't think I've actually ever seen another one in the flesh!
The arches weren't too bad to be honest, but I'm fussy so had them done. They were grinded/sanded back, rust treated and painted, which cost £200. Also bought new rubber arch trims, one from a guy on here and the other side from Subaru which was £36. Cost me about £250 in total, so not too bad really! |
looks great mate love that front splitter.
|
Cheers mate :D
Spent the morning degreasing my engine bay.. results: Before: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...a/IMG_0401.jpg http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...a/IMG_0399.jpg After: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...a/IMG_0409.jpg http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...a/IMG_0410.jpg I really need to invest in a decent camera, doesn't look half as good in the pics as it does the flesh :( |

|
Got to say that engine bay looks pretty spotless now :thumb: what products did you use on it??
|
Cheers guys :)
scoob21 - I used GUNK engine degreaser to clean it (£4.99 from Halfrauds) and dressed with Aerospace 303 (£14.99 posted on eBay). Followed a guide that was posted on here.. got the link somewhere. Was a bit worried about using pressure washer on it, but was fine, spent a good half hour making sure all the important bits were fully covered. |
Nice Clean Classic ........
|
lovely car mate, i am looking for something similar at the moment, is that a P1 front splitter?
|
Engine looks superb mate, good work. Post the link up to the guide on how to clean it when you get a sec please :thumb:
