Anymore info on this then chap, genuinely intrigued to know what my fully unlocked M48pro is lacking.

While the M48Pro has some old school cool, I think it was predominantly aimed at race cars (like the Aussie supercars - very nice!).

I'd say the disadvantages might be the now unsupported DOS based software, the smaller tuner base in the UK and the lack of road car features like knock control, closed loop idle and full switchable maps, etc.

I was surprised to learn that the datalogging is turned off after 6 hours, but I guess if its unlocked that might not be the case?

I love the fact it actually has things like a telemetry capability, but I think there are more obvious choices for a road legal Subaru.

I have no idea how much it costs and if it represents good vfm however, is it still available new?
