Weird, I just this week attached my 65mm red kryptonic radials to my tracker trucks and went for a skate

Old Skool

I am old enough to remember it first time round

haha Kryptonic wheels, now that it pretty old school! I've been skating for 13 years now, but it's always been street or park skating.

i was never any good on skateboard, i found bmx much easier, and quite handy on the old baron ruption i had!

jef 18 May 2012 08:41 PM

im so much not a skater person,

but i take my 4 year old boy (weather permitting) to the custom skate park on way home from the childminders

a touch too young for the skate board, althogh has made an effort, the scooter is where its at for him lol

at the same time i like to watch the guys doing proper impressive tricks, so we are both happy lol

some good "action shots" there mate

haha he has mastered the basic priciples of balance ect, but hasnt grasped how the board can have a mind of its own, lol

the scooter is just to introduce him to skate park politics/eticket, and to familiarise the enviroment, he is clearly the youngest kid there and has a basic technique, so a good foundation for earning his father millions in the future lol

go on my boy lol :luxhello:

Good sport, good tricks.

I never had a bottle to skateboard without worrying about breaking my head and butt, or at least one of them.:( One should know one's limits, which is a good thing.

Its quite entertaining to see skateboarding in action. Have you got any youtube with you doing tricks with your skateboard? Feel free to put it up.:thumb:

My friend is making a video at the moment, it won't be done for a while because we need to get some more footage first. As soon as it's made I'll be sure to put it up on here :)

i was more into inline skating but when i was skateboarding i remember having a set of those Kryptonic wheels they always seemed to come in strange colours too lol

Nice pics! I'm a 'boarder myself, but the snow kind. I bought a skateboard to try and keep the balance one summer inbetween seasons. I near enough nearly snapped my back. I came to the conclusion that i'm too old if it didn't have bindings :)

Nice pics:)
Emotion black/reds, ACS 651 pro trucks and a fibreflex deck:), that how i rolled - gave it up back in 1979. Progressed onto water skiing, wakedoarding, kneeboarding and windsurfing, the skateboarding help a lot with balance:)

Wow

Got to get my ally cat scateboard off the loft
Must be over 33 years old and I paid £15 which was 5 weeks paper round money in them day s

My first skate board whas and old rollerskate screwed onto a plank of wood with no steering and used to go slightly to the left after my old father put it on not straight :D

Mikey Dolenz 21 May 2012 02:57 PM

You must know Ally Barr then if you're from Kettering....nice fella, skated with him when he came down to Harrow

mike74 21 May 2012 04:46 PM

Used to do a alot of skating back in the late 80's early 90's but much too old and knackered up now.

Recently treated myself to a few old school decks to use as some nostalgic wall art.

Still enjoy watching anything skate related.. Lords of Dogtown, both the movie and the documentary are awesome and Almost Round 3 is well worth checking out on youtube, Chris Haslam is scarily talented.
