Evo Brembos

Hi everyone a quick question....
Does anyone known if EVO8 FQ340mr Brembos, disks and pads will fit on a classic version5 STI?
As I have a chance of buying a set very cheep!
Any help would be much appreciated:)

i'd guess wheel offset might be an issue as per normal brembo's off a new age.

My wheels will be ok as they are aftermarket and have the correct offset.
I'm mainly wondering about the p.c.d for the disks and weather the calipers will bolt on?
Would anyone happen to know?

No they wont fit, the calipers have different spaced mountings and the PCD is different

It is possible. You would have to use impreza disks and have a bracket made up that mount to the impreza hubs then to the brembo. I'm hopefully getting some Evo 6 brembos cheap as my mates now upgraded so will be having a play about myself soon.

Infact it's not even as hard as that.

Its possible to fit,but you will need to modified them to fit.

If its worth yes is it worth, just only due price how much they cost against Subaru Brembo

Anything is possible , is it worth it for the work you need to do and the quality of the finished job , NO !

You will have to elongate the holes in your hub assembly to make them line up with the caliper lugs , there is about 3mm difference in the spacing , so your making the hub assembly weaker , and the bolt is not fitting into a round hole.

You have to machine down the lugs on the calipers to line them up with the discs , in the link they did it with a grinder !! doing it this way , they will never be perfectly flat and the bolts will forever come loose .

My advise is don't bother and fit the STi calipers , at least all the other drivers around you will be safe even if you don't care about your own safety.

Thank you very much for the help and advice everyone:)

Again thanks:)
