Is it the clip that holds down your drivers side mat mate?

yup looks like the clip that holds the mat to the carpet.

damn you guys are good! whereabouts/how does that go exactly, at the front or back of the drivers side mat?

M2RTXhawkeye 18 May 2012 02:55 PM

Pops into the floor carpet mate then mat should have a hole to clip it onto

Should by under the rear right hand side of the mat. Just under your right leg.

tried fiddling around with the clip but couldn't find anywhere to put it, thoug by the right hand side on the drivers side, there is a huge hole in the carpet!

Looks like the clip that goes in the side of the glove box to limit how far the glove box opens Normally one each side stops it over opening and the contents falling on the floor

Definitely the carpet clip.

Here is a thread on NASIOC about an upgrade of it;

I take t this is on later models ? As my classic has a metal tang that points in the air, the carpet hole goes over it then you move the metal part 45 degrees to lock it into place
