Squeak on new rear brakes
Hi guys.
Just got my car back about a week and a half ago after getting new brake discs and pads on all round just before leaving to Glasgow. On the way down I noticed while driving there is a very light squeaking noise coming from the rear brakes. Once I put my foot on the pedal even slightly it stops though. Is this quite normal until the brakes are bedded in? Ive done around 400 miles now and at first i thought it was maybe just the pads slightly touching the disc as when i start out driving it sounds more like a scuffing then when the brakes are heated up its a loud squeak. Its only noticable at low speeds ie 15mph.. Does anybody have any suggestions Cheers in advance! |
Exactly the same problem as me. New pads on front and once heated up really loud squeak when coming to a stop. Help?

Mine issue has now been sorted. Mine was a small dip in the disc and also ****ty pads glazing over - never using euro car parts again.

does anybody else have any suggestions? Could the pads be sitting a in bit too tight and just slightly touching the discs? I have done a few miles as said and thought if this was the case they might have worn down a bit by now?.. I think the discs should be fine as they are brembo and were bought from a reputable source... Any help!?
