Projector headlights on a blobeye?

Just curious really, did they ever fit these as standard to uk cars or is this a JDM thing? Wouldn't mind a set to replace my now mot void Xeons, although I suspect they are few and far between in the second hand market.

AFAIK, JDM only, and yes, few and far between.
