Bugeye ECU swap

I have Subaru impreza WRX sedan GDA Bugeye manual AUS spec

I have two ecu both from the bugeye cars.

My car came with a AF731 ecu.

I have a second ecu from a bugeye it has the AF570 sticker on the unit.

I want to know if I can swap the AF731 unit out and put the AF570 unit into the car.

1. Is the wiring the same for both units?

2. I assume I would need to remap the new ecu. But that is fine. I just plan on copying the ign tables, boost table, WG, injector scaling, tip in enrichment tables across and then checking the fueling with my wideband.

From looking at the board, Both have the same number located on the top right of the board. Also it appears both are the same A4SE900 processor board. Both are from AUS bugeye WRX.

This first AF731 ecu is locked

Hi there you can compare both ROM and download ROM from this link

http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.p...patibilityList

Not sure if they're straight swap ECU or is there some sort wiring, but you can check some AUS forums

Look like a immob problem needs to be solved first

Is there a OSS way to recode your keys to the immobliser

How do you re sync the immob on a newage bugeye? (without select monitor)
