They're a nightmare............. I'm constantly having to pick all my belongings back up off the floor after they've flown off the seats when braking
Easy to fit, no real dust issues so far, and they do the job better and better as they get some heat into them. Brake technology has progressed since my first set of Mintex performance pads. You had to add an extra 20 foot to your braking distance when they were cold  With these Kevlar pads it isn't an issue at all :smthumbup Very good pads and probably worth an extra 15bhp due to the confidence they give you in the braking zones :smthumbup Speak to Aztec Performance and order them, I don't see how you could possibly be disappointed. If you are going to track the car then he can give you advice about better pads/discs but for the road you will be more than happy.

Personally never had a good experience with EBC Red stuff. For road use I found them to be much worse than standard pads. Maybe they are better on the track.
I have the kevlar pads in my brembos now for road use and find them to be very good personally. No fade as yet even on ‘spirited’ drives and good pedal feel. Very good for the money. If I were to track the car (which I very much doubt) I’d change them for a harder hotter pad beforehand. Hi, just to let you know that I'm over the moon with the pads and discs you sent me......tremendous feel and power....I have regained my confidence when braking late, thanks very much, Paul - robbo1704 SPECIAL OFFER - JUST £99.99 FOR THE COMPLETE FRONT AND REAR SET. Looking for a decent set of front Discs and Pads for a 2002 STi 350bhp, Fast road use and one or two track days a year.
What do you guys recommend |
I,ve had these on my 05 Jdm Sti for a month now. First impressions are they are very quiet in operation and they stop the car very much better than the standard pads. Recommended.:thumb: Steve.
|
What Discs are you using Steve T?
|
I,m running the discs that came with the kit, solid vented. My car has the 114.3 p.c.d. If I remember correctly, I was supplied with the solid discs because of the later p.c.d. I,m sure Bob of Aztec will be able to advise you better.:thumb: Steve.

What do you guys recommend I would recommend these, along with the PF.11 Z compound pad option: http://www.superhids.co.uk/brakes/br...mbo-326mm.html If your budget doesn't stretch that far then these are also very good: http://www.superhids.co.uk/brakes/br...ront-pair.html Hope that helps. :) |
i bought some of these from your website a couple of weeks ago and had to pay £14.99 extra for delivery, i didnt notice this thread can i get a refund of the postage please?
|
Hi mate,
Website price is correct, thread is over 2 years old. I will amend the first post to clarify but don't have the option to change the title. :) |
