Jack made up this alter ego as no-one would argue with him all those years ago and he wanted to have someone who he could reply to and control, hence F1_fan was born.

Can't comment on specific people (and not referring to F1 fan here), but you'd be surprised how common that used to be on SN....well that and people putting up posts using aliases in support of a post made with another account!

It depends on how he is feeling that day. Sometimes he gets really cross with Apple and lets F1 go to town and get the last word.
