Low brake pedal after changing calipers
Hi everyone.
I just fitted some rear 2 pot calipers to my classic and since that I've noticed that the brake pedal is low. The rears have now been bled 3 times and the fronts have been bled twice but it still feels low  Every time we bleed them it appears as though there's maybe a little air in there but it goes clear and we've pumped a lot of fluid through just to make sure. Granted the car has covered less than a mile since they have been fitted but I don't think that would make much difference. Any idea why the pedal could be low now? Thanks, Paul |
have you fitted the calipers on the right sides , with the bleed nipples at the top of the calipers ?
You can fit them on the wrong side and the bleed nipple will be at the bottom and will never bleed up properly |
Mine`s been like that ever since I had the rear pads and discs changed. I just live with it now.

Yes they are on the right sides but that reply did make me smile because I've seen people make that mistake before :lol1:
Out of interest do you sell bleed nipples for 4 pots separately? Mine are becoming rounded off. |
Anyone got any ideas?
