(possum) Link Ecu.. questions.
I have just recently purchased a 'possum' link for my scoob which is apparently a plug and play. I have some experience with link ecu, having installed one on my mx5 years ago and self tuned.
Are these really plug and play or does anyone know if I have to change any sensors, I remeber before I needed to install a map sensor previously. Just seems a little odd to plug it in and get tuning.. Also anyone know if there are any link experts in the Kent area.. Meant to say it's for a 1996 Wrx Thanks Jim |
Its a MAFless system so it may be a little more than plug and play. Bob Rawle maps them iirc. :)

As above, the man who knows these is Bob rawle.
My 98 classic still runs one and is a dream to drive at around 400/400, 2.5 forged engine. |
I had one all done by Bob in a 99my It was ok but to be honest it was quite crude. You lost a number of features such as check engine and you may find you need to replace the original ECU board at MOT time for the emissions! Are they better now?

Crude they are, but they produce the goods. Bob and Harvey were both impressed with mine.
