Strange insurance quotes???
 

Hi,
I am looking for a classic, probebly an Sti.
Just done some test insurance quotes and they are as follows!

Turbo 2000 £400
P1 £550
Sti £1200

Something doesn't quite add up there since the P1 is an Sti and is more expensive.
Import or uk car doesn't seem to make a difference
But I've noticed with an Sti and the turbo 2000 it doesn't automatically get the cars details from the reg

Is this strangeness normal. I'd be better off stumping up another few grand for a P1 even tho I'd rather just have a regular Sti

P1 isn't an STI, it's a 2 door UK turbo. ;)

It's the same power as an Sti tho

But it still isn't a STI
