you could always fit the space saver on the rear if you had a front puncture and fit a rear wheel on the front , the spacesavers usually have less room so they may not fit over the 4 pots , I don't know sorry

All spacesavers are supposed to go on the rear anyway. Even though there is a speed limit on them, I'd imagine it would seriously affect your steering.

Owner's manual doesnt specify that spacesaver to be fitted to the rear only but I do agree that it should be fitted to rear. Never had the chance to use the spacesaver yet (not looking forward).
