yes the intercooler pipe is like that on all sti's. there is a metal part sort of moulded into it.

Oh right, ok cool. One question I keep meaning to ask you, what is the 2 pinky red circular things on show through your front grille. I looked closely at mine at can't see anything that could be coloured. My radiator is there. :wonder:
