I payed a fair amount for my car and will carry on spending to get in upto my planned spec;)

Kwik 29 April 2012 08:10 PM

What condition are the arches in? Is it an Ebay forged engine or a real forged engine?

jef 29 April 2012 10:46 PM

pmsl this doesnt even warrent a thread - cost is not always directionaly proprtional to power output,

and that doesnt even begin to consider ancillaries?

what is it you actually want to know?

tubbytommy 29 April 2012 10:53 PM

it should be how much cash are you willing to spend, having seen a lot of cars in the flesh at meets there are some real nice cars out there.

scoobyman2007 29 April 2012 11:17 PM

Sorry for this but I am not that good at spelling so it makes it hard sume times to put what I am trying to say dowen mates but I am getting beter at it and I hope this good now

prodriverules 29 April 2012 11:27 PM

400 in a classic with suspension/brakes to match and good looks will set you back at LEAST 10k if your starting with a standard car

and then add on all the other mods that people want, i.e. spoilers, bodywork tidying up.

Paulo P 29 April 2012 11:45 PM

I bought a standard classic about 18 months ago and I imagine it now stands me at over £10k  I daren't add it up :lol1:

im betting not because once you start it never ends.

MattyB1983 29 April 2012 11:48 PM

Reliable 400bhp classic which looks good, handles well and stops even better...

10K plus the car minimum.

Very far from finished! It needs wheels (I'm on 16"s), front brakes (I'm on 4 pots), coilovers, poly bushed rear, front anti rollbar, 2.3 short motor, bigger turbo etc etc and I'm already at 420bhp at 1.6 bar and looking for 450 at 1.8! It's non stop  That's what I like about my M3, it's pretty much standard and I don't feel the need to keep modifying it :lol1: Granted it's not that quick :D

Subaru's are like a drug! They are very addictive
