Just passing on what I was told ... the Police said they know the gang and they know what cars they are targetting ... you take your chances ...

Got a message from Pete Croney who is at the show, that the Police have informed him for people not to take their Imprezas to the show this weekend as a gand of thiefs are working in the area ... Be aware !!!

I went yesterday, (in my Impreza) there were loads of others there. Aston Martins Ferraris Etc.

Mine was OK at the end of the day when I went back to it.

Spoke to a couple of security staff there and they said they only occasionally have problems, not even 1 per week though?

I was there yesterday afternoon and there were so many Impreza turbos in the car park that you'd be damned unlucky if it was yours that got got.

ta for the warning though.

As for the show, it was nice to see the P1 in the flesh but I have to admit that the EVO VI Extreme out-did it for gawp factor.

I was at the show yesterday, and asked for secure parking. I was then directed to a sectioned off car park, that was a 1 minute walk to the entrance (no shuttle buses) and the parking was also FREE.

Andy Mid,
Which P1 are you talking about? I only saw saw an STi 5 dressed up to look like a P1 on the Prodrive stand http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif. Darran, Tim and I had a little chat with a Prodrive bloke who (although he didn't want to) eventually admitted as much. If you have a close look at the "blue cars" you can see that they have standard STi exausts and do not have ABS sensors fitted to the wheels. Apparantly the first P1's arrive in the middle of Feb presumably they will then need Prodrive fettling, so we will not get to see one until then http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
Nevermind though, I think the best bit of shows is needling the staff on the stands, or maybe its just me http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
