Cleaning at show?

What's the best way to clean my black scoob at a show? what do I need to take with me? Maybe a silly question but I'm a detailing newb :)

If it's just mainly dust on car rather than dirt i would use Autoglym detailing spray, spray on and wipe off with a microfibre towel.

It also cleans off any fingerprints or grease that gets on the panels.

If its just dust I have a lambs wool duster thingy on a stick, I do feel a plum when using it though, however if the roads are wet and the car is covered in spray what then?

Apparently you can get waterless wash sprays, simply spray on and wipe off with a towel but don't see how you can get the dirt off without creating swirls everywhere.

Flask of boiled water and a damp microfibre cloth and a miracle dryer or medium waffle dryer
Quick detailer and a glass polish and decent polishing cloth

Haven't made up my mind about waterless cleaning yet

Yeah, come to think of it I've seen the waterless wash sprays in the supermarket, just don't want to damage my recently corrected paintwork.

Meguiar's wash and wax will not mar your paintwork if you use a little common sense :-)

Providing all the prep works been done at home youll be able to get away with meg wash and wax then drying with a drying towel, even if its just dust on the car and you use qd or a duster to get it off its still gonna leave marring and possible swirl marks, its even worse on a black car because it shows up virtually every mark. If youve got time at the show take a pot of wax with you and give it a light coat to fill any marks

The last show i did, i think it was rally day last sept,... i sprayed a mist of water on the car, dry'd it off with a micro fibre cloth, then waxed it with autosmart "wax" not sure if that was the rite thing to do,... im going to pcad on saturday and if the weathers ok i was going to use a sealer then wax.

Hello joe. Long time mate. Im ok thanks. Hope you are ok. Aint heard from u in ages. I am not sure on the snow foam. Id say its more of a show style washer. I.e not for major grime, just the dust and grit from getting to the show. They arr wicked.

All the best

i use proshine or a detailing spray,if the cars dirty and needs washed i have a large

spray bottle like this but a 5ltr one
http://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/2l-pump-...ay-bottle.html

fill it with water before i leave and theres more than enough to wash 3 cars in the 5 ltr bottles. we did 3 scoobys at NBO last yr,
