Modified Live @ Angelsey on August 11th and 12th 2012, takers anyone ?
 

any doing any of the modified live events? im off to the angelsey one on august 11th and 12th (booking a b&b for £50 for the missus and myself). I havent booked anything yet, but if 10 tickets are purchased 1 is free, so that'll mean a discount on the overall tickets if we can get 11 people to go.....

Its £30 for the whole weekend (or £27 if we can get 11) and that includes camping, if you are into camping. 'fraid it'll be the B&B for me, like a bed too much! (£65 for 2 people at a nice place, though you can probably get cheaper). £100 + petrol plus booze and food aint too bad for a full weekend. I expect you'll use a tank full if coming from brum there and back.

If H would allow us to do it as a club event for those who wanted to go, we could book ourselves in as a club, that gives us certain privileges such as stand space made for us. If H wants to take over this, then please do so :notworthy otherwise a few of us can just arrange something between ourselves.

if you just want to do one of the days, its £22 a ticket but for an extra £4, its a weekend out !!!! :) if everyone does decide to do camping, then i'll probably join you. could have a great laugh.

Update:

Ive booked a double-room for the Friday and Saturday (10th and 11th) so no tent for us,
only 10mins drive from the circuit and its in a Pub Hotel. FTW !!!!!

SO, me and the missus is going, thats 2 tickets down - 9 to go, come on, if you're not doing nothing on those dates, the sun will be shining, its a racing circuit LITERALLY next to the beach.

Will be a fantastic weekend.

C'mon - someone must be going to the angelsey meet. Would be great if enough WMI cars went that we had our own stand, representing our fav club! :)

I'll be going to see how mark from TDR gets on with the pro-r impreza. Another 2nd place at knockhill on the weekend so looking good.
Not sure which day I'll be going to yet Carl, I may wait and see what the weathers doing closer the time.

I plan to do this weekend (and Brands on the 8th July if I can), but cant decide if I want to camp or do the B&B. Ive heard camping can be a bit "blustery" and I dont fancy getting blown out to sea..Which pub have you got into and do they have family rooms as I may have the lads with me??

best thing to do is look for B&B anglesey or for a travelodge or premier inn might be up that way. im about 6 miles from the circuit. i havent got the b&b name on me right now as im in work, but thats how i found it.

Ok, Ive managed to get us to tag along with a club called Street Cartel, a mixed bag of cars but they've got a stand so we can at least get some cars on show.

If you are definitely wanting to come to this event, book your tickets now, let me know and I'll get street cartel to add you to their stand list. We've missed out on the discount but we've got until the end of this week before clubs cant be entered so I need some numbers and they have to be definites :)

Its going to be HOT, there is a BEACH next to the racing circuit. Theres going to be models, drifting, all sorts of things going on. If you want to come, buy the tickets, let me know and I'll make sure you get your car on show.

Camping is free next weekend at Brands,,,,just cant decide if I want to "slum it" for a night. Be my luck, I`ll be the only tent in the field too..:rolleyes:

Il be going to angelsey and camping its only 30 mins up the road for me, i went last year and was a really good weekend

I'll be there this year, only 1 of the days though probably and its only 20 minutes away from me.

Was a cracking day last year had a really good time, there was always something happening.
