best insurance for 23 years of age

hi guys whats the best company for me to get insurance for my uk impreza im 23 with 6 years cb and a year driving experience in the impreza

CREWJ 19 April 2012 01:38 PM

Since you are under 25 the specialists won't touch you.

Try the compare sites to get a feel for different companies. I always found Admiral, Cooperative, Aviva or theAA as good for young people.

The phone is your friend mate, make yourself a nice beverage, get in a nice comfortable chair, and phone them all up and compare the price yourself.it's always best to talk to someone yourself.good luck.

hi fella ive just done all the internet searches my self, and the cheapest deal i got was with aviva, good luck fella.

rich666 19 April 2012 04:37 PM

Admiral are good I'm 24 with 1 year ncb n pay 950 fully comp on a v3 sti

ad uk 19 April 2012 06:11 PM

I've tried admiral direct line Aviva all over 2grand tpft joke had it last year for 1700 so just shopping about for something abit cheaper

Spencerdale89 19 April 2012 11:32 PM

I'm 23, admiral will do it for £875 for 1 payment but want £1600 to pay monthly!! How do they work that out??

ad uk 20 April 2012 07:03 AM

Joke m8 honestly really does take the miky

wrxolly 20 April 2012 09:15 PM

admiral cover my sti 1350 iam 25 2 years ncb but iam in high risk postcode

Spencerdale89 20 April 2012 10:18 PM

I'd be happy with that, if that's the price to pay monthly, I'm in a low risk postcode as well, what is the minimum age Keith michaels will insure? They declined my quote, :s

prodriverules 20 April 2012 10:23 PM

Is that mentioning all the mods Ad?

Spencerdale89 20 April 2012 10:25 PM

Nope, just getting quotes as standard to start with, the cheapest with the mods was Adrian flux but that was £2.5k!!

prodriverules 20 April 2012 10:27 PM

Christ it isn't until I hear all these's prices that I realise how good my price is really £285 fully comp with all mods[which is a few lol] and I'm 28

Spencerdale89 20 April 2012 10:29 PM

Jesus, who are u insured with?? I've git to try Aplan tomorrow, is there a specific person to speak to or just call up?

prodriverules 20 April 2012 10:34 PM

It's part of my trade policy as I run a bodywork/mechical workshop with my dad, mind the policy complete does come in at nearly 4k per year with everything we need to insure, its a joint business/pleasure policy

Spencerdale89 20 April 2012 10:36 PM

Oh right I see. I was looking at a traders policy but it was quite expensive.

Micheru 21 April 2012 12:34 AM

My quote barely went down after turning 25, even after shopping around. Paying £1070 now, 26, 1 NCB, out in the sticks with Admiral. Nobody else came close though... imports.

I'd decline your quote too if you had a modifed car and weren't declaring the modifications on it to your insurers.
