Q45 MAF and plug & Powertec Induction.
 

Bought this from the states but change of plan. This is a Q45 Maf which most tuners will tell you is a great upgrade especially for the late spec MY99/00 classics which are renowned for fragile mafs which when fail make the car run lean and can cause engine to go bye,bye.

This maf has a 90mm housing which is same diameter as the MY99/00 so I believe a direct fit. This is complimented with an induction kit if you chasing power.

The Q45 can take big power yet strong and reliable and lends itself nicely to anyone with an Apexi Power FC. You car will need a remap once fitted and can recommend Simon JGM who has used these in the past.

Will get some up tmz for you mate, its a very worthwhile upgrade if you still running maf, especially on the later classics which are known to have the weekest mafs.

plus the the Q45 can flow 500+bhp.

I have a. 97 uk car it has an apexi with the hand controller it should work don't you think :wonder:

The Q45 has 90mm diameter maf housing.

The 97/98 has a 80mm diameter maf, the MY99/00 has a 90mm diameter maf.

But yes this would still work on a 97 (with mapping), but you will need to adapt your pipework.

pics, it does come with the connector and about 300mm of wires, but currently connected to my car, but it will come with the Q45 to enable you to splice into the wires and can even give you the wires hook up colours if needed.
