Copying files to an Ipad2 I give up
.. ok so I can read and remove files, but what the **** was Apple thinking making this so ****ing difficult.
Does anyone have a working program that will allow me to just copy files to the Ipad2 ? I have a movie player on there that will scan and play most formats, but can I fook get the media on there .. :o:o:o:o:o:o:o |
Sounds like Apple. They don't like you using it as a removable device.
I just use VLC Media Player but they removed that as it was competing with itunes. |
iTunes. Doesn't have to be your machine just any machine with iTunes installed. Otherwise this http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/ but I haven't needed it.
|
MediaMonkey - it's like iTunes but good.

It doesn't work with third party apps.

I use a app that does exactly what you are wanting to do.
Connect the iPad to the pc, go to the app sync section on your iTunes, where you can select which app to sync. Scroll to the bottom there's a little box with 3rd party apps which you then select the app you got and you can add your movies that way. |

Can I just literally copy the files over, I don't have iTunes because I detest it. The iPad was ok up til now, my Android mobile is drag and drop.

It also makes updating the OS easier as you don't have to have nearly 1gb free on your iPad in order to download and then update. Steve |

Don't tell people that, it'll ruin your image.
Believe me mate, I am not an Apple fanboy .. the device allows me to use FB and the internet and that's about it. If I was buying one, it would be the Android all the way. |
Sell it then.

eBay will be fine and you'll get a decent price for it. You'll also find an Android tablet for peanuts. Resale is not a strong point. If all you're going to do is view web pages and you don't mind having it plugged in then you're better off with Android.
