Direct Line quote
Well big surprise today.
I am contemplating chopping my E60 535d in for an E46 M3. I have used a specialist for the past few years to insure my cars, Scooby then Skyline then the 535D and each time the price has jumped quite considerably to the point I am paying about £600+ for the 535D which I think is A) Excessive and B)Suprisingly more than I was paying for the Skyline. So I was half hoping that going back to a more specialised car, with the specialist insurance company, the price would drop. So after being told that they all get crashed because they're back wheel drive and I wouldn't get insured for one, certainly not with one of the underwriters the specialist deals with. Direct Line quoted £575.00. Hows that work then. :wonder: If you've not got loads of mods it maybe worth giving them a try for a comparable quote. :thumb: |
Funny direct line never used to insure performance cars. Even a 205gti !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! loved that car tho

They wouldnt quote me last year as soon as I mentioned my car was modified :/
