Best power without rotating turbo

Just wondering what is the maximum achievable bhp from the standard position turbo position. And what turbo will you choose to achieve the biggest power
I've heard MD321V can achieve between 480-520bhp
I'm currently running 2.1 CDB with MD321T
Cheers

SC54 or S206 Billet fall into that bracket too.

Jesus Wiley you have seriously upped the power now! I bet you really enjoying the car now;)

I would hazzard a guess here but more power is one of those bugs that once you have it you want more and more. I would stick with the T for now and when that urge creeps back in which no doubt it will you can skip that middle ground and the cost and go straight to a rotated set up. Think of it this way the money you skip spending in the next jump can be put towards the rotated kit so in theory its free lol, so just the turbo to match gt30, 35 would be needed.

Think it depends on how much your block is built for and if you want to push it to its max or leave it where it is going to be comfortable. Let's be honest you have had to drop some serious cash into your car because the engine let go, you want to do it all over again as the block was on its limit.

Enjoy what ever you choose though ;-)

A lot of reasons to leave it alone in terms of balance, reliability, effect on other parts as well as response. Just another 100 BHP can ruin the whole package unless you're only interested in what it will do in a straight line and even then in a higher gear since the time spent changing gear (if you want your gearbox to last) and the lag that often goes with that more than make up for the extra power in many cases in the lower gears when you are throwing gearchanges at it.

Financially, it is ruinous unless you have money to burn or it has a business objective behind it.

Mine was sweet at 434 BHP with 1 bar at 2500 RPM and no lag at 3000 RPM when you stomped the pedal. I ruined it by going bigger.

I'm running a 2.1 with a SC54, currently at 521bhp on V-Power, but there is more to come from the V-Power map when I put in my bigger injectors.

Let me know when you decide to sell the 54 dicko as I'm sure you'll need more power very soon (don't we all)
Picking my car up on Tuesday and will run it in before I decide wether or not I should upgrade the turbo.

Thanks for the replies, I know how people say that too much power, the car becomes too much for the road. I'll do some research on these turbos and pick what is best for me

ive been looking at this for a while m8 as i have a 2.1 and want 500 bhp but the standard position turbos that can give that power come with lag,so ive been thinking of sc46 with meth but again i will be disappointed if i didnt make 500 and i didnt really want to go back to using meths

I've stopped chasing the numbers and gone for how it feels in the conditions I use the car for .
Know searching for faster spool and genuine fast car . Good look though mate horses for coarses and all that ;)

really like your point, im sure that even 350bhp would make the perfect road car. just that if i can get a good deal on a SC54 i wouldnt mind if you know what i mean:norty:

my 321T should be good for also 500bhp jura with meth, as its the same turbo as yours. i'll run this baby in and go from there

SC54 will make power, but without the AVCS will be laggy.Wiley you have billet T or normal T?

If its billet i would guess will be amazing to drive, normal T is not the faster spooling turbo, slower spool than billet T for sure, but still great turbo

I would go with new billet V,great turbo and spool up is great too,bhp wise 520bhp on V-power and 560bhp on V-power and 20%methanol,those numbers i've seen on one V and 2.1
