2008 sti still worth 18k?
guys is a 2008 plate sti still worth 18k I know its from a dealer but still
http://subaru.r66.co.uk/vehicle.aspx...&vhl=602440040 second thing is, would it be worth the extra money to go for the 330s its just if it came from a dealer with warranty no real tuning could be done so thinking the extra power hike might be worth it along with the value come re-sale time. would the 330s still warrant the extra on a private sale cheers |
I think it's ok tbh
This is my old car and has a good spec and a new engine (10k ago) with forged pistons, kw suspension, full miltek, 19" oz one of a kind wheels, mapped by Paul at Zen. Very quick very reliable. Pm me if you want more info. |
330S should warrant the extra.
Keyless, recaro's, touch screen SAT NAV/DVD/Bluetooth |
That looks like a nice car there!

Well according to the sales rep the engine is fine and never had a rebuild lol, kev you sure this reg is the same as your old one. Just will probably go and see it at the weekend so don't want a wasted journey
Cheers |

£18k will secure a 2010 STi with PPP and still a years warranty to run.
2008 STis for around £14k in abundance and with low mileage. £18k for any four year old car (non special edition) costing around £26k new doesn't sound right to me. |
WTF
http://subaruvehicles.co.uk/used/car...ti-type-uk-331 Same dealer, thought these were only £29k new! |
It's a limited edition TA340
33k new then has engine upgrade to 340ps, sti spoiler, massive pro r brakes front and rear, suspension upgrade along with bushes and anti roll bars, wheels and the matt grey wrap. The TA stands for time attack as this is the garage that prepares the pro r time attack car and when it won last year they released this as a special. IMO far far far better handling than the cs400. |

40k is for a new one that is the demo one priced as a new car. It had great reviews from pistonheads.
|
Yeah, but its not worth 40K
|
Its back to the old chestnut that the asking price is different from the selling price. No-one expects to get their asking price - its just an invitation to make an offer.
So there is a lot of late 2008/early 2009 std sti/330S asking 18-22K but would expect the selling price to be £2K less for nice ones (re-done engines). I wouldn't look at one that had not had a properly rebuilt engine. |
