As im now lucky to be a permanent employee, if the fuel did dissapear from our forecourts for a week or 2, i`d simply phone in stating i have no fuel and i will either not be turning up or i will be a few hrs late whilst i leisurely ride my pushbike the 15 miles, they can like it or lump it.

simples

granted this wont do for alot of folks, but ????

Tesco are doing two for a tenner on their 5 litre bottles of oil, plus I used 2 £3 off vouchers when you spend £20 or over.

Steve_PPP 28 March 2012 07:20 PM

I did fill up today, but only because the scoob was empty so i would have done anyway!

No queuing for me though as some pumps only had vpower, i drove straight up whilst every other moron queued for pumps with 95ron/diesel :D

PaulC72 28 March 2012 07:24 PM

its ok those who don't fill up will just nick it from the tanks of those who did lol.

Not panic buying as if I run out and cannot get any then I will just have to stay at home.

No. I haven't "rushed" anywhere as yet. I'm in town tomorrow so, if there's no queue at the motion lotion station AND they have some, I'll fill up. Simples. :thumb:

Syvecs to the rescue ill switch to cal 1 and run some 95ron, shame I cant switch to a 100% meth map as ive got over 200L of the stuff :)

davegtt 28 March 2012 09:02 PM

Lots of queues in my town tonight as I came home from football, friggin fruit cakes, I was going to fill a jerry can up for my lawn mower to do it tomorrow but now Im buggered :(

Ant 28 March 2012 09:04 PM

all our local petrol stations have now ran out, fcuking numpties

chocolate_o_brian 28 March 2012 09:09 PM

Was down near my local Tescos earlier looking around other shops and saw the que building for the pumps. Curiously i popped in when pulling out the carpark and asked if they had anything left. The lady channelling the drivers to the remaining pumps said just diesel, not even a drop of Momentum.

I'm kinda buggered, Scoob is mapped for 99 only, krapp.

It's either Gainsborough (if they even sell 99 there) or a Shell near Donny/Hull to get me my go-go juice.

Wouldn't be fussed but I've booked 5 leiu days off work next week and wanted to take our son on a couple of days out :(

Great stuff. I'm almost empty and need to get to Lincoln, Shepshed and home. Hopefully they're not as retarded down here as they are at your end of the county.

ditchmyster 28 March 2012 11:02 PM

Just spent an hour to fill both cars and a couple of cans, as i'm booked on a flight on tuesday and need to get from notts to stanstead, so with everyone playing silly buggers i'm in the dammed if you do dammed if you don't situation, and tomorrow i'll have to go to the tip to empty the old oil out of my 20l jerry can and give it a clean so i can fill that so the mrs is sorted for the next couple of weeks, super.

powerwrx 28 March 2012 11:09 PM
