i will be ok, park the scoob up & use me little micra 1 tank lasts a month :lol1:

steve ex vauxhall 28 March 2012 03:48 PM

What's the point?
It's only going to be the drivers that may be on strike, the refineries and all the wagons are still there to be used if need be.

I have already had 2 fone calls asking if i'm available to work over the weekend.

Fuel shortage my arse:lol1:

Daz89 28 March 2012 04:00 PM

Have just been to fill the scoob up at my local tesco(have a long motorway drive later) and was pleasantly surprised to find the only fuel they have left was momentum! It finally paid off having the scooby! And it was amazing to see the amount of people who would rather go without fuel than pay for super unleaded

Coffin Dodger 28 March 2012 04:02 PM

Filled up yesterday..... :D

Though in my defence it was nearly empty, will keep me at work for the best part of two weeks :(

hutton_d 28 March 2012 04:10 PM

Not going to queue but I'm half empty at the moment so will fill up tomorrow (diesel). I normally wait until the tank is running on fumes but I'll fill up early this time. The tank does last several weeks so rather 'safe than sorry'.

Just filled the Jeep with diesel...

Sorted !

I used to put in £20 a time, this went to £40 very quick..now i have to fill up £90 - not driving is not an option..but when will it stop..

Iain Young 28 March 2012 04:15 PM

Got my wedding and honeymoon booked for Easter weekend. Going to be driving to North Wales for a week. Hope this doesn't spoil everything :(

I'm heading to Rhyl as well but not until the Wednesday after Easter so I'm assuming it will all be over by then

EddScott 28 March 2012 04:30 PM

A full tank, tinned food and shot gun cartridges.

Pretty much Zombie attack but without too many Zombies :)

If I filled up now I would be empty again by the time the strike is organised. If the worst comes to the worst I'll cycle to work or work from home.

kingofturds 28 March 2012 04:35 PM

40 litres of veggy oil for £34 that's me sorted for a few weeks.

HT04 28 March 2012 04:36 PM

Yep. Queued up in afraid. But only cos my fuel light was on. Although I did fill the jerry can at the same time :p. both vpower, of which only 1pump had.

Dan

Gear Head 28 March 2012 04:41 PM

Well the light is due to come in my focus anytime soon. Is it going to be as bad as the last ones?

Kirstiestar 28 March 2012 04:42 PM

Nope, not me!

Surely, by definition, as you were queing for 30 minutes you would class yourself in that bracket?

:D

Ant 28 March 2012 05:39 PM

No as I was on fumes in my Work van that I fill up 3 times a week at £110 a time!!

I was oblivious to the strikes till the attendant told me

P1Fanatic 28 March 2012 06:21 PM

I stopped on the way back from football last night as was down to 1/3 of a tank. Garage was almost empty then I noticed only vpower petrol & diesel pumps were in use. Thought I would stick 15 quid in anyway. Stood in the queue to pay and see a bloke walking around to take the yellow "out of use" signs of the regular unleaded pumps - aaaargh!

Good price,were from?

Jamz3k 28 March 2012 06:39 PM

Looks like a pure win win for the petrol companies, they must be raking it in right now and thinking who gives a **** if there is strike for a day or two as they've already made up the difference by people panic buying.....and best of all when the strikes finished, all those people will panic buy more petrol.
